Can Anybody Find Me Someone to Love? by Tom Chapman
The title of this article is named after a Queen (the band) song which was remixed in 2011 in case you don’t recognize it. It’s a great song so take time to look it up and listen. If you’re like me, you will identify with the lyrics and hope that someone will help us find love.
So how do we find love? Well, love is typically hiding and very illusive so don’t expect to find it easily. But most importantly you “have to take actions that put you where you can possibly meet good people”. For example, good dating sites are one place to look but make sure you have a nice profile with good honest information and nice photos. Don’t expect results on day one or expect it will happen in a month. Sometimes it takes a long time but if you don’t maintain a presence online then you may never find love.
Why do I like online dating? I like it because I can browse through many people to find someone special that I am attracted to and can start a communication! If you do put forth some effort to find someone online, you may be surprised at who you find. Yes, there are dishonest people online just as there are dishonest people you can meet anywhere. So, you must ask good questions as you peel back the onion and you must have discernment as you discover who someone really is. Also, you may have to communicate with some frogs before you find a prince or princess.
Or are you staying at home all the time and you do not even go out and are not open to meeting new people? Do you think you can find love when you are alone at home all the time? They surely won’t find you at home, will they?
Finally, don’t be afraid to start a conversation with anyone. Who knows, maybe the person you could fall in love with will cross your path, but what good is crossing your path if you don’t try to speak to them? Be bold in your efforts to find someone to love, the rest we will leave in the hands of fate.
